Women Participating in a World Cafe ActiviTea

SerendipiTea is off to a smashing start, thanks to Joanne Hill who took the program from her winter home in Fort Myers, Florida to South Bend, Indiana. Thirty-seven excited women gathered on October 17th at Unity Church of Peace  for their very first Higher Tea. After opening with a prayer by Rev. Sandie Vanik, Lisa Greco, a Communications Professor at Bethel College, involved participants in a “World Café” activity about what the women wanted their group to address. They captured ideas for promoting spirituality, small group discussions, emotional support, spiritual retreats, and social activities. One lucky woman won the drawing for Dr. Pamela Gerali’s book, Higher Tea: The Essence of Joy. Stay tuned for more exciting news from this dynamic new Higher Tea Circle.

On Sunday, September 13th, I had the opportunity to worship with the congregation at Unity of South Atlanta and share my insights on “The Power of One.”  They meet on Sunday mornings at the Pristine Chapel. It is so lovely and inspiring.

After the service, 30 members attended a workshop on “Creating CommuniTea” and learned how to start an ongoing higher tea circle at their church. They have decided to open the program to women and men and will have a “pot-luck” tea after service on the first Sunday of each month. This is a perfect example of how  flexible the “Create CommuniTea” program is and how it can be tailored to meet the needs of the church and community.

We look forward to hearing more about their new higher tea circle, CommuniTea in UniTea.

Welcome to this Sacred CommuniTea!

June 15, 2009

Dr. Pamela GeraliWomen around the world are gathering and are experiencing the power of ”communiTea.” We have learned that together we can change the world from the inside out. As we expand our awareness, we give birth to wisdom, love, peace and joy.

I invite you to join your sacred sisters for “higher tea” and enjoy the benefits of this delightful experience. Create a higher tea circle; share your thoughts and ideas with others through this blog.

May you be richly blessed,

Dr. Pamela Gerali
